Pope Francis Gave Ahiara Diocesan Priests 30 Days To Accept Bishop Or Face Suspension !! Clergy in Nigerian diocese must write to Holy Father asking for forgiveness by July 9     Pope Francis has given priests in the   Nigerian diocese   of Ahiara 30 days to write a letter promising obedience to him and accepting the bishop appointed for their diocese.  Priests who do not write the letter will be suspended, according to Fides, the news agency of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples. The papal text in English was posted on the blog of Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama of Jos, president of the Nigerian bishops’ conference, and Fides posted it in Italian. The Vatican press office could not immediately confirm its authenticity, although Cardinal John Onaiyekan of Abuja, who also was present, told the Catholic News Service that they were the remarks of the Pope. A day earlier, Nigerian Church leaders met Pope Francis to discuss the situa...

“Ahiara Diocese Is On The Verge Of Schism – But Who Is To Blame? ” Right now it looks as if we are dealing with a rebel diocese in Nigeria. How did it get this far? What on earth is happening in the Diocese of Ahiara in Nigeria? According to reports, it seems that the local clergy have refused to accept the appointment of a bishop by Pope Benedict XVI, made in 2012, and now Pope Francis has demanded that they accept the appointed bishop and that each priest writes him a personal letter of submission within thirty days or  face suspension . After five years of refusal by the priests of the diocese, the Papal patience seems to have snapped. This is not the first time that a diocese has had imposed on it a bishop that it clearly did not want. Let us remember the example of Osorno in Chile, where the new bishop actually faced protests in his own cathedral on the day of his installation. Despite the protests, the Pope insisted that the appointment goes ahead. However, let...

THE TRUTH ABOUT SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT WHEN IT COMES TO MARRIAGE PARTNER ! T he question of spiritual discernment of marriage partner is an old issue in the body of Christ. Central to this quest is the question of God’s will and avoidance of mistake. Thus emerged the “divination” school of marital choice, with the man or woman praying and the Spirit of God “revealing” whom to marry. Whereupon the man to whom this is “revealed” then approaches the lady with a “Thus saith the Lord” prophetic proposal. The woman thereafter goes to seek the face of the Lord for confirmation, though sometimes she herself might have “received” before the man comes to propose prophetically. A substrate of this religious philosophy of marital choice is the belief that there’s that ONE person for each one of us, what we call the “missing rib” phenomenon. This, of course creates an incredible probability ratio of 1:3.7bn. But what happens if that one person dies before he gets to make the choice? Does th...

23 THINGS WIVES SHOULD DO TO KEEP THEIR HUSBAND(S) UNDER THE CONTROL OF THEIR LOVE !!!! It has been an reoccurring stories of many families having problem basically to the husband and wife. Obviously, it is difficult for husband and wife to live year to year without an issue but when the issue takes time to be resolved, that's become a problem. Based on that, I have proffer a possible solution to a happy home living which I tagged "23 things wives should do to keep their husband(s) under control of their love" because I observed that most of the family issues comes from the women most a times. Be silent when he is angry. You can go back to him in his sober moment with apology n explain why you  behave that way that annoyed him. 5. Be quick to say "...
